Answers

  1. What is your charging structure?

For our website design and development services we charge by project, for all other servicers we charge ourselves out based on a daily rate.

This differs from many digital marketing agencies who charge a commission on your internet marketing spend.

We believe that by charging you a daily rate you can be assured that we are giving you the right advice.

Can you say the same of digital marketing agencies who work off a commission?

We have no vested interest in getting you to spend more than you need to, in fact quite the opposite.

Our sole aim is to advise you on which internet marketing activities are right for you, what sort of spend is necessary in each case and the most cost efficient way for you to implement the activity concerned.

  2. What is your daily rate?

    We discuss our rates with potential clients during the initial discussions with them, but please note the following;

We do not pitch for business at a senior level and then delegate the project to an inexperienced junior manager. Nor is our experience agency based.

The advice given by Really Useful Websites is drawn from the years of senior management experience of our Managing Director - Tim Harding - who personally heads up all our projects.

Tim has many years experience with leading companies such as Trinity Mirror, Boots The Chemists, Airtours Holidays and Norwegian Cruise Line. He held several senior management roles at Airtours before becoming Marketing Director for Norwegian Cruise Line, his last role before setting up Really Useful Websites Limited.

Our daily rate is commensurate with this level of experience and is therefore not the cheapest in the market.

Obviously we leave it to the client to decide whether they want to pay this rate, or take advice from someone more junior, or from an agency that has little client side experience.

  3. Is there a minimum project fee?

Yes - we cannot give you the best advice unless we research your business and spend time talking to you about your objectives and your desired customer acquisition costs or lead generation costs.

To this end we normally spend two days minimum with a client.

  4. What to I get for the fee?

That's up to you because you decide how much time, subject to our minimum, you want us to spend on the project.

We can do a thorough review of your current internet marketing and produce an internet marketing strategy and internet marketing plan for you.

Alternatively, we can merely review your business and give you a quick report on what we recommend you do to take your internet marketing forward.
